History and Other Info

This is a one-owner boat purchased new in 2008 in New England. It has been kept at Noank Village Boatyard since new and they have performed all maintenance on her including annual oil & filter changes, exterior teak finishing with Cetol, removing & inspecting mast & rigging every winter.

As is often the case, the LCD hour meter operates intermittently, however the hours continue to be recorded. I've been unable to read the hours yet, but based on the owner using the engine less than 50 hours per season with no long trips south for the winter, we are comfortable estimating less than 50 hours per season. Chances are good we will be able to read actual hours during the sea trial portion of the survey.

The owners are retiring from boating so everything you could need comes with the boat if you want it. The dockslip, dinghy & kayak storage at Noank Village Boatyard have been paid for for the 2017 season and they would love to keep you on as their customers, or if nothing else there is no rush in taking the boat away to you home after the purchase. The cruising in this area is amazing with Block Island about 3 hours away, Newport at 5 Hours, many ports on Long Island in a 20 mile radius with Cuttyhunk, Martha's Vineyard  & Nantucket within a day or two's cruise away. Even you're taking the boat somewhere else, you may want to take advantage of its location and free docking to cruise one the best area in the world in the summer.
